What happens on the day

Every oven cleaning job runs the same sequence, so you know what you are getting before anyone knocks.

How long it takes

The whole job is done in one visit, typically 60–90 minutes for a single oven.

  1. Book by oven type

Single, double, wall or range cooker. Each has its own fixed price, with cooktops added on the same form.

  2. Racks, trays & removable parts dismantled

Racks, trays and removable parts are dismantled, ready for soaking.

  3. Parts soaked in the heated dip tank

Parts soak in the heated dip tank in the van while the cavity is detailed. Everything is cleaned on site in one visit.

  4. Interior degreased, non-caustic & fume-free

The interior is degreased with non-caustic, biodegradable, fume-free products. No airing the house out for 24 hours.

  5. Door removed, glass cleaned between panes

On most ovens the door is dismantled and cleaned between the glass. Sealed door designs that can't open without voiding the manufacturer's warranty are flagged, not forced.

  6. Reassemble, polish, quick heat-up cycle

Seals, fascia and knobs are wiped and polished, then a quick heat-up cycle finishes the job. You can cook the same day.

What your pro brings

A heated dip tank travels in the van, racks, trays and removable parts soak on site while the cavity is detailed.

Degreasers are non-caustic, biodegradable and fume-free, so you can cook the same day.

Glass and stainless are polished to finish, including between the door panes where the design allows.

Before we arrive

A short checklist. None of it is mandatory, but doing any of it gets your cleaner started sooner.

  • Clear some bench space near the oven for the technician.
  • Have the oven cool, not straight after a roast.
  • Empty the oven of trays, foil and thermometers before we arrive.
  • Note the oven brand or type in the booking if it's unusual.
  • Allow 60–90 minutes for a single oven.
  • The heated dip tank lives in the van. Nothing leaves the property.
  • Add the cooktop or rangehood at booking so it's all done in one visit.

After we leave

  • After a quick heat-up cycle you can cook the same day. No airing the house for 24 hours.
  • Products are non-caustic, biodegradable and fume-free.
  • Permanently etched enamel may retain some shadowing. Your technician points this out before starting.
  • Everything is cleaned on site; racks and trays go through the heated dip tank in the van.

What this actually fixes

baked-on carbon

Layers of baked-on carbon come off with non-caustic degreasers, though permanently etched enamel may retain faint shadowing.

a smoking oven at dinner time

Smoke at roasting temperature is usually burnt grease. A full degrease takes away the fuel.

door glass you can't see through

The door comes apart and the glass is cleaned between the panes where the design allows.

grimy racks and trays

Racks and trays soak in the heated dip tank in the van while the cavity is detailed.

burnt rings on the cooktop

Add the cooktop at booking, gas, electric or induction gets its own detail and polish.

old-cooking smells

Fume-free products mean the old-chip smell leaves and no chemical smell replaces it.

Oven Cleaning questions, answered

Are your products safe? Can I cook straight after?

Yes. We use non-caustic, biodegradable products with no lingering fumes. Once we're done and the oven has had a quick heat-up cycle, you can cook the same day. No airing out the house for 24 hours like caustic DIY kits.

Do you take the racks and trays away?

No need. Everything is cleaned on site. Racks, trays and removable parts go into a heated dip tank in our van while we detail the oven cavity, so the whole job is done in one visit, typically 60–90 minutes for a single oven.

Can you clean between the door glass?

On most ovens, yes. We dismantle the door and clean between the panes. A small number of sealed door designs can't be opened without voiding the manufacturer's warranty; if yours is one, we'll tell you rather than force it.

Will my oven look brand new?

Almost always dramatically better, and often near-new. We're honest about the limits: enamel that has been permanently etched or discoloured by burnt-on carbon over many years may retain shadowing even after a full degrease. Your technician will point anything like this out before starting.
